Clarion Call hosted its much-anticipated Ramadan Conference 2024, welcoming 263 students, parents, and teachers from English medium schools. Held at the ZAARA Convention Hall, the event was a powerful blend of spirituality, learning, and community bonding.
Distinguished speakers, including Professor Shamsul Alom from the University of Dhaka, Colonel (Retd.) Ashraf Al Deen, and Sheikh Hedayat Ullah, shared profound insights on personal development, Islamic teachings, and the virtues of Ramadan.
Professor Shamsul Alom delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the importance of self-improvement as Muslims and better human beings, urging everyone to reflect on their personal faith journey during the holy month. Colonel Ashraf Al Deen, a distinguished scholar and the Editor of Clarion Call, emphasized the significance of holding firm to the Quran and always standing for what is right in life, especially in the face of adversity. Sheikh Hedayat Ullah, a renowned presenter from major television networks, offered invaluable guidance on how to stay productive and spiritually connected during Ramadan.
After a spiritually nourishing session, attendees enjoyed a traditional Iftar and dinner, sharing in the communal atmosphere that Ramadan brings. As a special gesture, each student was presented with a copy of the Holy Quran, symbolizing knowledge and faith to carry forward in their lives. The gratitude and excitement expressed by the students as they received this sacred gift were truly heartwarming.
This remarkable event has left a deep imprint on all attendees, cultivating a sense of unity, purpose, and spiritual reflection. The wisdom imparted by the speakers and the bonds formed among participants have invigorated their dedication to Islamic values, with the hope that these lessons will inspire their journey well beyond Ramadan.
May this blessed gathering continue to guide us on the path of righteousness, bringing blessings and peace to everyone involved.
